We help maintain safe and secure road networks by preventing disasters caused by torrential rains, heavy snowfall, and earthquakes. Moreover, we inspect man-made and natural slopes to detect potential disaster-prone areas at an early stage and provide consulting services ranging from proposing prevention and mitigation measures to planning and design.

Road Disaster Prevention Inspection
道路防災点検

We perform road disaster prevention inspection to prevent disasters on roads caused by rock falls, slope collapse, and landslides as well as to ensure safe and secure roads. 

Our highly experienced engineers regularly check man-made slopes and road structures and identify areas at risk of disasters based on the stability and movement history of loose stones, boulders, and accumulated sediment as well as the effectiveness of preventive and mitigation measures thereof.

Design of Disaster Prevention Measures

We design disaster prevention facilities to prevent disasters caused by torrential rain, heavy snowfall, and earthquakes and ensure safe and secure roads.

Our highly-experienced engineers perform topographic survey, geotechnical investigation, loose stones and boulder surveys, and so on and design the facilities to stabilize man-made and natural slopes and disaster prevention measures including rockfall protection fences.

Design of Landslide Measures
地すべり対策設計

We study the mechanism of landslide occurrence and movement that occurred on natural and man-made slopes, then predict future risks of slope collapse and landslide.

Based on the studies, we propose and design the most appropriate measures to prevent landslides or mitigate damage.

Our aim is to protect the people’s lives and properties from natural disasters such as heavy rains and earthquakes, and to support the creation of safe and secure communities.

We provide comprehensive consulting services, including the proposal to planning and designing of disaster prevention solutions that combine both structural and non-structural measures and can be implemented in collaboration with all parties involved so that damage can be mitigated.

The regional disaster prevention capability must be strengthened to promote the creation of resilient communities that are prepared for large-scale natural disasters. Therefore, with the use of our strengths as a comprehensive consulting firm, we provide total support from the conception to formulation and follow-up of regional disaster prevention plans and regional resilience plans in consideration of the regional characteristics and issues.

River Basin Disaster Resilience and Sustainability by All
流域治水対策

In recent years, in response to increasingly severe rainfall disasters, there has been a need for a shift to “River Basin Disaster Resilience and Sustainability by All”, in which all concerned parties work together to mitigate flood damage throughout the entire river basin.

In addition to river development, we provide technical solutions for proactive disaster prevention measures that combine both structural and non-structural measures including storage and infiltration facilities, and land use control and guidance.

Non-structural Measures

Non-structural disaster mitigation measures are inevitable, in addition to structural measures, to protect lives and livelihoods of people from the danger of floods and landslides caused by heavy rain.

Thus, we offer comprehensive support in providing non-structural measures, including sharing of information on river water levels, survey of potential inundation zones and landslide prone areas, preparation of hazard maps, and proposal of evacuation tools.

Disaster Recovery

Major Services

We provide total support from the surveys and investigations immediately after the occurrence of disasters to studies and design of measures to promptly restore and recover infrastructure facilities and the lives of citizens from the damage caused by natural disasters such as typhoons and torrential rains that have been occurring frequently in recent years.

Disaster Survey and Investigation
災害調査

In the event of the occurrence of natural disasters, we will carry out disaster surveys and investigations. At the initial stage, we conduct site reconnaissance to understand the scale, form, and traces of the damage that are identified through field investigations and study the emergency measures.

While in the cause investigation stage, reproduction calculation and analysis are carried out based on the estimated disaster external forces and characteristics of the subject facilities. Afterwards, we study the disaster mechanism and process for use in subsequent recovery planning and design.

Design of Recovery, Rehabilitation, and Restoration
災害復旧設計

We perform the design of recovery, rehabilitation, and restoration of damaged infrastructure facilities to restore or enhance the functions not to be damaged by further disasters.

The disaster recovery design involves the study of optimum structures that can withstand the identified causes, and optimum construction methods in view of the local topography, geology, rainfall and traffic conditions, etc., and subsequent designs necessary for construction.
