In Japan, where there are many rivers and mountains, bridges are essential for road development. Particularly, bridges crossing over large rivers in plain areas and deep valleys in mountainous areas are far larger in scale and require advanced techniques.

We aim to employ state-of-the-art techniques in all stages from planning to selection of bridge types and detailed design, to ensure rational bridge design.

Expressways and Limited Access Highways often use an elevated bridge structure because of their grade separation with ordinary roads. Especially in urban areas where there are many intersecting roads, continuous long elevated structures are often adopted to avoid regional separation.

In planning, we comprehensively consider structural characteristics, seismic performance, economic efficiency, and aesthetic view to design the best suited viaduct. In addition, interchanges and ramps often have special shapes and small curves, and are designed accordingly.

Pedestrian bridges serve a variety of needs, such as road crossing, river crossing, and connecting urban facilities.

In pedestrian bridge design, we consider the regional features and environment, and propose an aesthetic view and structure that the local community can be proud of.
